A Little About Me…

I love and cherish the thrill of capturing the ranching way of life. I love the process of capturing a photo that reveals a story; I love sharing my eyes interpretation of the lifestyle of rancher’s, rancher’s families, cowboy’s, horses and cattle that still today are leaving a legacy for generations to come.

I'm a blessed and happy wife in love with my cowboy husband, I'm a mom to three handsome gentlemen, and I'm a self-taught photographer with many mentors along the way. My passion is photography, but I have to be honest, photography found me when I wasn't even sure I was looking!

It wasn't until in my late thirties when I purchased a semi-pro camera for which I was thankful to have but blessed to say; I've been able to upgrade since my beginnings. With my new camera in hand and the desire to learn, I enrolled in photography classes and began to shoot and learn. From the start, something inside of me stirred with excitement, an excitement that's hard for me to put into words?!?!?!

Photography allows me to capture with images the ranching lifestyle that seems to be less and less treasured. Photography allows me to connect with God’s creation, His glorious nature, and other beautiful souls around me. I look forward to many more of these stories and moments, and lastly, but certainly NOT the least, my greatest love of all, Jesus! I thank Him for all His resources and give Him all the glory for allowing the gift of photography to find me……....my passion!
